Süreyya is the coming together of two lifelong passions: wellness and hospitality. Founded by husband and wife team Kristy Morris and Dr Özgür (Oz) Dedehayır, it reflects a shared vision of creating spaces that enrich people’s lives through connection, nourishment and care.
Kristy is the co-founder of the multi-award-winning KAILO Wellness Medispa, a pioneer in redefining the wellness industry, and founder of KAILO Nutrition, awarded the World’s Leading Luxury Wellness Brand and now stocked across Australia, the USA, the UAE and Europe. Oz brings an international academic career in food innovation and entrepreneurship, and as Director of Export and Innovation at KAILO Nutrition, he is committed to helping Australian innovation reach global markets.
The inspiration behind Süreyya is deeply personal. It is named after Oz’s beloved late grandmother, who shaped some of his fondest childhood memories in İstanbul. Watching her prepare meals, he learned that food is never simply about nourishment. It is about family, generosity, storytelling and gathering around the table.
Today, those memories live on through Süreyya, a celebration of Turkish-inspired hospitality and the belief that food can connect people and create community. Guests are welcomed like family, traditions are shared, and every meal is an invitation to slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Together, KAILO and Süreyya reflect the values Kristy and Oz hold closest: wellbeing, longevity, connection, innovation and genuine care for others.
